Why the difference in UI between Win and MAC
I'm new to AutocadLT for MAC but used the windows version for a couple of years - why can't the UI be the same? The Win version is certainly more versatile and everything is display not so with MAC version unless I've missed something?

Problem with file
Dear members,
I have a strange problem when opening files in AUTOCAD LT.
When I open a file on a computer with AUTOCAD LT 2008 the following problem occurs:
The text not displayed correctly. As you can see on the attached picture.
When I open the same file in a different computer with AUTOCAD LT 2015 it's ok. See second picture.
I don't thinh that the problem is with LT 2008, because I have tried to open on another computers which runs LT 2015 and the problem still occur.
So only on one computer is correct ( runs windows 8.1 64 bit)
Any suggestions would be appreiciated.

The green and blue semi opaque pickbox windows do not appear
For AutoCAD LT 2010
When I attempt to select an object or group of objects I typically press the left mouse button and drag over the objects to be moved or copied etc. Although the operation still works, the drag window does not appear when dragging to the left or right - the green or blue hashed windows do not appear making it very difficult to define the extent of the selection...I simply cannot see the extent of the pickbox window. I also adjsted all that I thought was possible to adjust in options/selection. If it is of any importance, there is no pickbox icon under the 'pickbox size' heading. All other icons are present making any adjustments very easy to see.

Palette Groups - how to save them in 2015 LT
Hi.
Little big problem with palette groups - see attached gif.
Problem is:
At work we have share point and we store our palettes there, so while I'm at work everything is good.
From time to time I take my laptop home and I'm not connected to the work network - so my palettes dissapear - it's not a problem because I don;t use them at home.
Problem is when I'm back at work - everytime I have to create palette groups from scratch - we have a lot of them so it's a bit of time waste and unnecesary work to do for me and it's boring etc... is there any way to save all my palette groups so I can load/import them (in the order I want them to show up in CAD) when I'm back at work?

Missing tool/menu bar (Help, update, search etc)
Running 2015 LT on win 7, and for some reason the set of menus thats default top left of screen that include a search bar, help, update etc is missing and I cant get it back. Various searches havent revealed an answer. Im guessing its just a on/off variable, but im unsure what name the menu/tool set it is, so cant find what I need to switch on!

AutoCAD LT for Mac and AutoCAD Architecture
I use AutoCAD LT 2015 and will be working with someone who uses AutoCAD Architecture 2013. They create strictly 2D drawings in AutoCAD Architecture, but use a few of the commands/tools that I think are unique to Architecture like drawing WALLS, DOORS, and WINDOWS. But that's about it. They may upgrade to Architecture 2015, not certain at this point.
And, I don't think the doors and windows are linked to schedules, but its a possibility. I've read something about object enablers being part of the Architecture program, but don't really understand it. I've found little on the internet about these two programs working together.
Here's my question: Will I be able to edit Architecture created floor plans in LT 2015 without causing problems when that drawing is later opened in Architecture? Mostly I'll be editing drawings that have already been created in Architecture.
Any insight into the compatiblity of these two programs for 2D drawings would be very helpful. Thank you!

Renaming xref layers which change child drawing layers

I am trying to incorporate standard templates for my workplace. We already have some drawings that have the correct layer settings which I would like to use, however the xref layer names don't align with our layer naming conventions.
Just wondering if there is a way to change and xref layer name (A) that changes the name in the drawing that is referencing (A), instead of creating a new layer based on the new name that uses the source layer properties.
Clarifying further:
What I have now
xref layer = STG1-R-AC
child dwg layer = (A)|STG1-R-AC
what I want
Xref layer = renamed to R-AC
Child dwg = (A)|R-AC (But maintains layer properties of (A)|STG1-R-AC

Have not received activation code for LT subscription after 24 hours
Ordered an annual subscription to AutoCAD LT for Mac about 30 hours ago. I've received a fulfillment email, but have yet to receive an email with a product code, etc., so that I can activate my subscription.
How long does this typically take? Should I just be patient and accept the fact that my "annual" subscription will not be a day or two short? I noticed that customer support is somewhat...limited, so the forums seemed the way to go.

AutoCAD LT 2015 RAM issue
I get the message "Not enough free RAM for HIDE--some lines will be hidden incorrectly." I have 12 GB of RAM, 500+ GB disk space, Nvidia GeForce GTX 645 graphics card. What can I do to resolve the problem?

One of our employees has a problem when they start their computer and immediately load AutoCAD 2013LT (and no other program). When they close the CAD file, they cannot reopen it without restarting their computer (and AutoCAD). Can you give me an advise why is that happening and how can be solved? Thank you.

Dynamic block issue
Whenever I create a dynamic block, I always put all the layers in that block within all the blocks to layer "0" and I put all the settings to "by layer". Everything has been working great with the blocks until now. Whenever I go to freeze that dynamic block on its new layer, it wont freeze. It just says "layer 0 has been frozen." The new block is on a new layer but wont freeze according to its new layer. The only way it will freeze if I select an object that is not a block or just a line on its layer. Any suggestions. I need to have the fixed ASAP

Attribute justification changes on Insert
I have a block with a single Attribute, defined with Middle Centre justification, but when inserted it appears with Middle Left - why would this happen?
I have edited the block definition and the Attribute still has MC.

Haven't recieved activation code
Hi,
We ordered Autocad LT at noon today and have still not received that activation code. Although the trial had not expired we began getting a licensing error, so we proceeded with our order and are anxious to get this reinstalled and activated. Any help greatly appreciated.
