Demolish line type - change from dash line to dot line.

I have used very old versions of cad.  I now purchased AutoCAD LT 2016 and I need to know how to edit a pline to make it dashed.  Also, where can I obtain more hatch patterns.  I need stacked stone etc. and LT doesn't have it.
