I would greatly appreciate your help and feedback regarding Geolocation. Our office just purchased AutoCAD LT 2015 last week. Before we used AutoCAD 2006 and sometimes I need to make a few drawings to attach to my reports to clients. I am still trying to figure out how it works. I am really interested in Geolocation tool. My questions are:
- Can one print the map(s) form Geolocation as part of the drawings to be submitted to a client (once I sign in and create my account in Geolocation)?
- If my office purchased AutoCAD LT 2015 does it mean that map features come with it as well? The reason is that I frequently draw my site plan with the map in the background as part of the final deliverable to client or municipality. For instance, Google maps has a certain limitations mentioned in terms of use (at least here in Canada).
- If one cannot print maps from AutoCad’s Geolocation tool as part of the final deliverable, are there any other sources of maps similar to Geolocation or Google maps that allow the use of their maps for free?
Also it would be nice to hear from the Autodesk administrators of this forum. Thank you very much.
