I have imported several drawings from DraftSight into AutoCAD 2010 LT. Even though they have been saved in the 2010 format, when reopening them I get a "Proxy Information" window appearing indicating there are Object Enblers missing and the following aplications are missing; AecBase60, AecArchBase60, AecBaseEx60 and AecArchDACHBase60. How can I install or find these missing files to resolve the problem?

I'm a relatively new user to both Autocad LT and this forum, I am on a steep learning curve! I have come across what i can only discribe as a glitch when dimensioning up a drawing in paper space. 

occasionaly when re-opening a dimensioned up drawing some of the dimensions are not correct. I have found that if i double click on them to highlight the text they then return to the correct figure. I am stumped as to why this might happen. 

Any ideas would be very greatly appreciated.

I have noticed a similar thread asking my problem but it was not answered, so I will ask it again perhaps clearer!?

I have Autocad LT 2012 and have an amount of customization (mainly small toolbars with blocks to insert on them like our library for different topics)

I have bought a new PC (windows 8.1) and installed Autocad LT 2015 as a trial version before I sort the licence out.

As I don't have a version of Autocad on this PC I am unsure how I am able to get my customization on this 2015 version.

Under the migrate custom settings facility on my old pc my options from my 2012 copy are to

migrate from a previous release,or

import Autocad LT 21012 settings, or

export Autocad LT 2012 settings.

I have chosen export Autocad LT 2012 settings and it creates a zip folder of my settings, which I have used to put on other Autocad LT 2012 copies we have.

The question is quite simply how do I get my 2012 custom settings into 2015? Surely this has to be possible? I hope it is!

Here's an issue that sounds simple but I can't seem to get a solution to.

When using the FIELD dialog box (e.g. adding a field to Mtext or table) there doesn't seem to be an option to set a format as default.

E.g. I have a table listing areas, each area as a field, however every time I add a new area (field) I have to change the format, precision plus additional formatting, conversion factor and Suffix.

I would like to default the area to sq.m (suffix) and have a conversion factor of 0.000001 as we always use mm as our default units in the office.

It would be great if new named formats could be added but failing that is there any way of customising as a once off?

Possible using AcFields.fdc ?

I'm currently running Autocad LT 2015, but from talking to outher users LT2014 and full 2014 and 2015 users can't solve the issue either.

Any help wuold be greatly appreciated,

A colleague of mine has received a file from a company that uses Catia 5.

In the conversion to LT the text has changed to individual lines to form the characters. Is there a way to convert this to proper text, or is it a massive task by re-typing everything (and there is a lot to re-type!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially by the poor soul with all the potential rework.

I currently have an annual Autocad LT subscription. I was wondering if it was possible to transfer the licence to other Autodesk products such as Revit

i have 3 AutoCad LT 2013 licence in the office, 1 normal, 2 service pack.

i face problem open 2 of the AutoCad file in service pack, the file run very slow, and it hang when i try to open the layout, but when using another computer with normal autocad LT 2013, it can run smoothly.

could it be a service pack problem? or file problem? or computer problem?  (so far, the IT said) my computer is under a good condition.

Hi I have AutoCAD LT 2012 and it crashes every time I run it.

The splash screen appears and it says initializing, then it gives me a message "AutoCAD LT Application has stopped working"

I have reinstalled AutoCAD, and then installed the SP2 update but still get the same issue.

When I look in the application event log it says:

Does anybody know how to change the size of the icons in Autocad 2014

my autocad classic workspace is too larger icon than to other workspace.

i did bougth and payed the autocad 2015 lt on the autodesk site.

i tried several times to install it. i contacted the customer support. they sent me a new version,

because they had "to fix an issue on our database, and now you should have no problems to install your autocad lt 2015".

so far so good, but ist still does not work.......

1. i need the german version of autocad lt 2015 (renting)2. the download works

 unfortunately i got the english version form the customer support @ autodesk.com

2. the download works 

3. extraction / installation starts without any problem

4. i can write the serialnumber  / product key into the window

5. after some minutes, the installation stops on "8 of 12 remaining" and a small window says (in german)

" schlüssel ist im angegebenen status nicht gültig" in english (more or less)

" key in this status is not valuable"

is there someone in this universe who can help me???

I use AUTUCAD LT 2015.

I'm doing a simple sequence of actions and the result is weird. So what's wrong?

I create a drwawing; Simple one, just a rectangle with a diagonal.

Call it "XREF - baseplan - rectangle"

I create a second drawing, no settings changed, a circle inside.

Call it "XREF - circle".

I open my BASEPLAN, choose INSERT/ATTACH, choose the "CIRCLE".

Then I can choose the insertion point, I select the middle of the diagonal.

Don't see it at the right scale, which I would expect as I changed nothing in the files.

With Zoom EXTENT I can discover the 2 OBJECTS but..

The "CIRCLE" is in the "BASEPLAN", but small, miles apart form the center of the diagonal and not even a circle anymore but an "octangular object".

What's happening here?

I kept it simple and such a mess...

Is there an actual person I can talk to for support? I am trying to move my AutoCAD LT license from one laptop to my new laptop. It has de-activated on my old laptop but when I try to activate on my new laptop I get the error message: User Account No Longer Valid. I have been down for over a week and cannot work. I have submitted several support requests without a response. I have tried to chat with support but every time it says all support agents are busy. Your support is very frustrating.
