AutoCAD Lt freeze when working with Hatch - Problem

I have recently upgraded from AutoCAD Lt 2010 to 2014 everything is working well except when i come to use the hatch tool......

I get a few second freeze with the program when i:

Select a hatch fill

Try to move the hatch fill

Try to edit the hatch fill

prettty much anything that involes editting a hatch.

The problem is very frustrating and its wasting my time when trying to be productive.

Does anyone have any solutions or where i can email to find a solution
