It would look as though, as with many others that I am having the same issue with the subscription license. Used the chat support which was no help. Dont get me wrong, they were very nice but ultimately about as useful as a handbrake on a canoe.
The issue is that we bought a subscription of AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD revit LT on Friday. It was bought through an account created in my bosses name (due to credit card info) but installed on my machine. Both worked fine after initial installation although we received an email from Autodesk asking us if we'd requested an activation code every single time we started both products. I've been advised that this could be due to the fact that our Antivirus blocked the Activation Code when we first installed but its the first item I'm waiting for an answer on and how to resolve.
Then yesterday, I started getting the "Contact your administrator to request permission to use this product". I couldnt open either AutoCAD LT or Revit LT. I am the administrator so I logged in and tried to add both the original account info and email and my own info / email under the user tab and nothing happens. My device is also showing up as being out of date. I've seen someone else mention something about synching the account so maybe that will help.
From reading the forum there seems to be a better response to the forum than to the Case numbers by Autodesk support. Almost 24hrs waiting now for a response and although that may not seem like much to Autodesk, to a small business thats a long time of no production and they dont have to explain the downtime to our bosses / clients. Although, to be honest, I will be giving them my not so glowing review of the super happy funtime Autodesk Licensing and installation experience.
