Xref radius not recognized by DIMRADIUS command

Hello all,

I have been having trouble with onlycertain files that have an xref. The problem involves trying to use the DIMRADIUS command on an xref. When the command is active and selecting a radius it does not provide them dimension. In some files when I select the radius on the xref it does provide the dimension. Can anyone explain what I need to change so that it will always work?
