Simple one when snapping on to objects with say a polyline for instance is there a way of making it only snap on to what you have set in the parameters only so as it does not snap on to some other object. I use a surveying software n4ce and if you select a snap and tick the box to select this only it will only snap on to that parameter and give you an error beep if you have not selected anything valid if you have several objects near to each other in a small area then CAD will not always snap to the exact point you want.
