Hi
We are trying to install AutoCad 2010 and are getting an error from the setup.exe. I suspect this media is corrupted but I'd be grateful if anyone could confirm that.
This is what we've tried so far, all installs are to clean vm's with no previous autocad versions. Have tried both 64 and 32 bit machines to test. .Net version is 3.5
Attempting to install the setup.exe as admin gives an error 'The system cannot open the device or files specified'
Changed the location of of the setup to c:\temp and c:\ with elevated permissions, same error
Removed and reinstalled relevant c++ libraries as per other posts on the forum, same error (reboots in between)
Removed references to c++ in the pre-reqs section of the setup.ini as per other posts on the forum, same error (reboots in between)
Checked that all antivirus software is off - there is nothing on the vm's anyway
The setup.ini refers to the following
EVALMSI=SetupRes\eval.msi
PRIMARY_MSI=acadlt\acadlt.msi
SETUP_ICON=SetupRes\aclt.ico
We cannot locate acdlt.msi, however our customer has confirmed the setup works for them. Could anyone recomend anything else I could try or is there a problem with this media?
Many Thanks for your input
Hollie M
