Autocad LT User Interface Setup - Standards

Hope my subject doesn't mislead anyone but I am looking for a way to setup my CUI so that I can predefine an intities layer, style, etc. from a ribbon button.

Example one would be a single click hatch command that would draw a hatch on a specific layer using a cross hatch pattern and it would automatically know I would be selecting a object.  As the drawings that I work with are reletively simple (i.e. very few layers, 3 hatch patterns, 3 line types), it could dramatically increase my speed by reducing having to resetup the hatch command each time I had to switch between then.

I have setup a number of similar type commands for inserting text at a defined angle and location along a line.  I achieved this by creating a standard block with the specific text, then inserting the block at a location and angle defined by the user that then explodes the block on exit of the command alllowing the user to them edit the multitext as normal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brad
