I recently overlayed the layout drawing for an upcoming road project over the Geolocated Aerial in AutoCAD LT 2015. The image quality of the aerial view is very good when viewing the drawing. However, in order to further utilize the document, it becomes necessary to perform the "Capture Area" function of the portion of the map encompassing the drawing. Unfortunately, in doing so, there is a noteable degredation in the quality of the image, as well as a slight shifting of the aerial's alignment, as can be seen below.
The right side is a very "zoomed in" view of the web-accessed aerial imagery, which is still relatively clear/sharp. Left of the green line represents a portion of the "captured" image, and is noteable "fuzzy".
Is there a way to retain the original image quality while performing a capture?
