AutoCAD LT 2015 Problems with XREFs

Hi all,

I'm having difficulty with XREFs in a document. I have seen the problem addressed on other posts but the solutions have not worked for me.

The original DWG was created in AutoCAD 2015. I am using AutoCAD LT 2015.

The issue is that the content from the XREFs no longer appears in the model after closing and reopening the program. Meaning, I was working with the document before, things opened properly, I created a few new layers, then after saving the file, closing and reopening the program to continue working on it, discovered that the entire baseplan seemed to be missing (XREFs are of the baseplans).

I tried going to the XREF menu and reloading the XREF files which did at first have a little warning symbol next to them when I first visited the panel. Then I tried detaching and re-attaching all of the four XREFs. I tried rebooting the program and my computer.

I also kept getting notifications of unreconciled layers-- and addressed that by going to that window and right-clicking and selecting "Reconcile Layer" for all of them (it looked like the majority of layers were unreconciled and then moments later needed to be reconciled again).

Another notification bubble I kept getting pertained to one of the XREF files, saying it needed to be reloaded, but when I would follow through with that nothing happened.

I also tried opening the original file that existed before I saved over any changes, and tried copying and pasting the layers I created onto it. What resulted was the content I pasted appeared as a flat line.

Thank you.
