NAS ok for very small office?

I know similar questions like this have been asked, but I didn't see any specifically for AutoCAD LT..so here goes. I'm a tech consultant for a very small home-based architectural firm. They have had endless problems keeping their three computers reliably networked so they can all access drawings, and I was thinking it might be time for a NAS. Two computers are Win7 and the third is Vista; the two Win7 ones are the important ones. They are using Autocad LT 2007 and 2012. Can you forsee any particular problems with storing all drawings on the NAS? I have NO experience with this program, and they really don't have a lot of money to spend on this (server is out of the question). There's really no money to play around with and try things out and hope things work, sadly...it's a situation where I really need to have some measure of confidence it will work, even for a $300 investment. But their needs are minimal--they really only need to access and modify drawings, that's it. The firm is not likely to grow beyond what it is now (retirement not far off).

This is the NAS I was thinking they should get: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CRB9CK4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2EKRJI4EI44NX&coliid=I4I4O497OYWIU
