Hi
i have to reload images each time i open acad 17 lt drawing. Its frustrating as I have to insert and scale the images each time I insert.
Why is this? I only get a frame in the drawing with a text saying where the file is located.

Is there an older version of LT that will work with my 32 bit OS? How do I trade my 2018 version in for one that will work?

I have just installed of ACAD LT 2017 for the Mac.
I am using an Apple wired mouse.
Since the installation, I can not pan objects by holding down any combination of mouse controls. Holding down the shift key, or the control key while trying mouse options does not do the trick.
ACAD LT 2015 Mac had this functionality.

I understand AutoDesk AUTOCAD LT does not support the APPLOAD command for LISP files.
But is there a work around to load LISP files in a script?
Also, I ran across an ADD-ON called CADSTA which loads a APPLOAD command somehow. Is this application against Autodesk TOS or illegal?
I read how programs modifying the code are illegal, but this is an add-on that attaches itself to the program.
Also, can we upgrade to AUTOCAD from LT or do we need to purchase a whole new license?
I am trying to load ACAD on my new laptop and this has been unsuccessful. I don't have a hard serial number since I bought the on line version download I just need to be steered in the right direction to get this thing loaded to the new laptop.

The text height for dimensions is not happy today. I used to have a set font size (and arrow size) for dropping dimensions on objects in model space. Then I scale the dimension text according to the viewport scale. This was awesome until I broke it. Here the settings I assume are related directly or indirectly:
Text style is "STANDARD", meaning the following:
Font Name - romans.shx
Size - Annotative [checked]
- 0.125
In the Modify Dimension Style: STANDARD
Text style: STANDARD
Text height: grayed out
After dropping a dimension in model space the text is 0.125. But if I adjust the text height through properties the number changes, not the text's height. It's worth noting that adjusting the "Dim Overall Scale" does not effect the overall font size.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

In AutoCAD LT 2015, i have a cad drawing that says it is invalid when i try and copy and paste. Some key information:
1) I can copy and paste fine in some of my other CAD files.
2) I use to be able to copy and paste fine in this particular drawing, but started having this issue a couple of months ago.
3) If I use a coworkers computer, I am able to copy and paste fine in the drawing, using AutoCAD LT 2015.
4) I can paste in text from word and excel, just not from AutoCAD.
5) If I try to copy text from CAD and paste into word, CAD will pop up in the foreground of my screen with a new drawing very briefly, closes, and then displays my original CAD drawing. In word only a blank pasted outline shows up. My drawing file history shows a new drawing had opened (i.e. Drawing.dwg) and also shows something that looks like a block was created (i.e. C:\Users\....\A$C2454455)
I have tried a few things so far, including a purge, deleting most of the drawing and all xrefs, and a disk defrag without any success. Please let me know if you know how to fix this.

I've recently upgraded from autoCAD 2015 to autoCAD lite 2018 and so some teething issues may be expected. i have a file from which I've extracted objects from before using my old version of autoCAD into a new file and this worked as expected. However since i have installed the newer autoCAD lite exported 2D objects from the original file lose all scale in the Y-axis and appear as a line along the X-axis. I've tried setting ISUNITS to 'zero' and saving the original file to the latest version to see if that allows the objects to copy as they should however i haven't managed to find a solution yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm using AutoCAD LT 2011 F.51.0.0. on Windows 7 (professional)
This issue happens intermittently (i.e. I can go weeks without it occurring, but when it occurs, it can happen several times over the course of an hour). I always use Polar Tracking, but every now and then it switches off without apparent cause. I did wonder if it was because I was switching between drawings, but just now I was doing a few move operations in a row on the same drawing. First move was fine, and polar tracking was used. On the next move, it had switched off.
I know my mouse went nowhere near the icon, and my fingers weren't on the keyboard, so I couldn't have toggled using F10. Is it an issue with the drawing? Or is there some gremlin periodically wandering through the office and playing silly wotsits with my settings?

new to this all. Used to work on AutoCad 10 years back.
When selecting "from" right mouse click to stretch or move an object relative to another point, the object gets displaced to the bottom right hand corner of the drawing area in the moment I hit the from option... Am I missing something?

A few weeks ago I started having problems when I try to drop a marker to specify a geolocation. When I click "Drop Marker Here" the marker that usually appears does not (see photo). I tried installing the geolocation hotfix but it has not solved the issue. I was going to try and reinstall AutoCAD but thought maybe a setting to changed somehow.
Hello Guys, is there a problem with Autocad Lt 2017 that does not allow the f5 toggle to work? It is supposed to make my isoplane change from direction to direction. I am using a HP note book. I can change it by going to the icon drop down and manually change it, it is too slow. Am I missing something?

I'm running AutoCAD LT 2014 on a Dell laptop with Windows 10. The program ran fine for several months, but after a recent system update I'm running into a problem. I can use the program through text commands but every time I click on the main toolbar it automatically crashes. Has anyone else run into this type of thing?

I have an HP computer with Window 7 Professional SP1.
After installing AutoCAD LT I have a problem with my MS Office 2010 applications.
The right click window is no longer a stable environment for making changes.
The right click window closes spontaneously without making a choice.
This makes it very difficult to alter settings in any of the applications.
Does AutoCAD LT have anything that affects the Office 2010 applications?

Okay, I have fonts called ARCHITXT.SHX, ARCHSTYL.SHX etc. used from AutoCAD Architecture 2008. Now I am using AutoCAD LT 2018; I am trying to learn more about the LT 2018 as I already subscribed to the AutoDesk Revit LT Suite. I am now in ACAD LT 2018; I did carefully check to see all fonts were in the right directory, which is Program Files/Autodesk/AutoCAD LT 2018/Fonts. I already copied those fonts to the folder.
When I opened the file created using Arch 2008 and showed still SIMPLEX.SHX instead of ARCHITXT.SHX as listed on properties...
Why don't I see ARCHITXT font in the AutoCAD LT 2018?
