Please help me.
Due to a "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled c0000417h" my AutoCAD 2014 crashes every time I try to print a dwg to pdf.
It seems to only occur if I print one of any number of files within a particular/specific folder.
Things I am still able to do:
I can publish the very same drawings to pdf.
I can print a dwg to pdf if it is within a different folder.
Any suggestions?
Hi, i am using AC2013LT and have come accross a problem with the printing. I have completed my drawings, converted them to PDF(image 1) and when i print the PDF out, there are parts of the drawing missing as image 2 shows. If i plot direct from autocad, there is no problem with the print. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
In AutoCad LT 2011 when I dimension a circle the radius is correct but the diameter is 1/2 of the radius instead of double
how do I fix this.

I'm facing a problem that each time after I did Regen or Zoom, the system halted and then recovered only after several minutes. I guess maybe it is related to special drawings, because it only happened when working with the drawings which was transferred from an .iges 3D drawing. Anyway, it is a really a pain for me.
Did anyone meet the same case by accident before? Could you share with me the real cause and solutions?

Could anybody tell me if AutoCAD LT 2000-R15 and 2008 -R17 are still supported? I can't find anything on this site that can help?

I have just recently installed AutoCAD LT 2014 on Windows 7 (Running on an intel iMac through Bootcamp). Ever since then i am receiving notifications when performing a save.
AutoCAD is telling me it cannot perform the save and is creating a .tmp file in the same location on the server as the file should be.
this is causing major performance issues and happens almost every second time I attempt to perform a save. The issue is that we are getting multiple versions of the same file duplicating on the file server which is very quickly going to cause capacity issues considering most files are 2-4mb in size.
Any help would be appreciated.

AUTOCAD saves a dwg in the autosave folder as a .BAK. When we rename it to a .DWG to try to use it AUTOCAD ignores it and opens a new dwg. We have the file extensions on. This only happens on one machine. If we try to open the .dwg on another machine it opens fine. We are using AUTOCAD 12LT. Does anyone have any idea how to correct it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Out of the blue, my Layer Control will not work. When I click on the icon, the top two lines on the screen go gray and the whole thing locks up. The layer palette does not appear. If I try to choose anything on the screen, it beeps. It unlocks if I hit escape. If I type in "layer" at the command line, the same thing happens. At this point, I am unable to change lineweights & colors within my layers settings. Very frustrated! Can someone please help?!
While working today I noticed that I would select an item, then enter the command and for some reason the command would un-select the item and ask for items to be selected. For example; moving a line I would select the line, then key in the move command and instead of asking for a base point it would ask for me to select items. This was not the case twenty minutes ago.
Is there a setting that randomly changed? How can I get it back to how it was before because this is totally frustrating...!

Can someone from Autodesk help me with an activation code??? I have purchased this software off an USA website and have only recieved product SKU: code's. This does not help with activation as this is not a product code. I am based in Australia and need this product code to get started. Please direct me in the right direction.
I have a lot of files I need to convert to pdf as one package. This is so slow. Any way to make it faster? Is flattening the way to go? Hopefully these a better way.
My office recently received the update from 2013LT to 2014 LT, and after installing them, I'm noticing an issue that I don't understand.
If you go to the link below, you'll see a video of the problem. Basically, when more than one drawing is open, as the user pans around or zooms in and out, the application status bar starts to go nuts, with the word "unrecognized" popping in and out, as well as a small symbol to its left. Also, while all of this is happening, the colour in the layers bar at the top of the drawing flickers somewhat randomly. So far, 5 of the 11 copies have had this issue, and 3 of those licenses haven't been used yet.
I'm experiencing this on multiple machines, across multiple platforms. This includes Core I7's with 8 Gigs of DDR3 RAM and Radeon 6450's running windows 7, all the way to Core 2 Duo's running 64 bit XP with 4 gigs of DDR2 RAM.

We just got AutoCADLT14. I am trying to bring up old AutoCAD 2000 drawings, I can see them in the preview box but not on the screen, I know I am missing a setting that is really simple. Help!
Is it a back round color issue....
I am running a fully licensed version of AutoCAD 2012 LT on Windows 7. It worked perfectly the last time i used it (several weeks ago). Just today, the program will not fully load. Instead, it displays the load screen for several seconds, pops open the CAD window for just a split-second, then disappears. No warning message popsup. I tried everything I could think of:
Nothing has worked. I am out of ideas. Any solutions here would be GREATLY appreciated. Here are two tips:

I just want to extract the coordinates and number of survey locations that are represented by point blocks from a drawing.
My template is on the desktop and is named
TAYLOR EXTRACT.txt
BL:NAME C008000
BL:COMMENT C008000
BL:NORTHING N0010003
BL:EASTING N0010003
I get the attribute extraction menu
select some points, verify that points have been selected
specify the above template
Specify the export file name
select ok
returns 0 records
I have recently upgraded my AutoCad 2013 LT to 2014 LT and now find the model and layout tabs on the top left hand side under the tool bars. How can I restore this to the standard location on the bottom left as it was in all previous issues. I am using AutoCad in Classic format as previously.

I have installed AutoCAD 2012 LT on my work machine, but its coming up with an error - "Customization file load failed. File not found: acadlt".
My work machine is controlled by our IT, so the C: drive is locked and I only have temporary admin rights on it. Being a fresh installation, I believe this might be related to the security policies my work machine is under.
Any ideas?
